Magazines with swimsuit issues have been circulating in the market. There are a lot of magazines with different styles and approaches. For obvious reasons, the swimsuit edition is always the most sought after. It usually features beautiful ladies clad in their sexiest swimsuits. A magazine which produces a swimsuit issue is the Sport Illustrated.

This was the first issue where a non-model and non-athlete but a singer appeared as the cover girl. The 2007 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue was a huge success. Now, you can be sure they will come out with another special theme in a future swimsuit issue.

Sports illustrated swimsuit issues have varied throughout the years. There are times when they feature athletes inside their pages. Top athletes like Steffi Graf, Serena Williams, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Venus Williams and Lauren Jackson appeared in some swimsuit issues. There were inset pictures for athletes on the cover. These athletes were Anna Kournikova in 2004 and Maria Sharapova in 2006. Swim suit edition of Sports Illustrated had changed the interpretation of swimsuit magazines.
